Zavanti is excited about the release of Intralogic 9 which streamlines managing documents with on-line web-based editing and versioning and introduces re-developed workflow design and logic to enable clients to expand business process automation into new frontiers. The solution offers far greater flexibility, more streamlined notification, more options and better management tools. An impressive feature of Intralogic 9 is its ‘Streamlined Document Editing’ module. This function allows MS Office documents to be downloaded, locked, edited and saved directly to the Document Store; “This means that you can edit documents online, streamlining the process of checking in and checking out, whilst maintaining full system security and integrity” adds Weblogics MD, Jon Harris. This new feature uses the WebDAV protocol, or ‘Web Distribution Authoring and Versioning’, the Web’s most recent technology tool to enable distributed collaboration.
There are many more exciting features in Intralogic 9, including on-screen editing of content, new and advanced search pages and Blackberry and smart-phone compatibility. Weblogics MD, Jon Harris, concludes “We have re-designed many of the existing features with a view to make Intralogic 9 as simple and intuitive as possible to use for everyone, from end-users to administrators”.
